Kitchen fire leaves Rocky Mount family homeless (Rocky Mount Telegram)
A family of six was left homeless Saturday night after a kitchen grease fire tore through their two-story brick house at 831 Springfield Road. No one was hurt, and the proximity of Rocky Mount Fire Station No. 5 directly across the street prevented the structural loss of the home.
